Alfred Lavi

Summary
Founder and Medical Director, United Care Family Medical Center,
Dr. Alfred Lavi, a Diplomate of the American Board of Family
Practice is a primary care physician. Dr. Lavi attends to the needs
of a wide spectrum of patients including pediatrics, adults
(including obstetrics) and seniors.
Dr. Lavi received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in the
field of Molecular Biology from UCLA. Subsequently, he received his
Doctorate degree from Western University with honors, then completed
his three-year Family Medicine Residency at Harbor UCLA.
Dr. Lavi's training enables him to provide
quality care for his patients in both inpatient and outpatient
settings. This formal training is supplemented by Dr. Lavi's
experience as a physician at South Atlantic Medical Group clinics, where he
has provided quality care for his senior patients for the past four
years. Dr. Lavi has a strong interest in office procedures, medical
education and community education. He is fluent in English, Farsi,
Hebrew and speaks basic Spanish.
Dr. Lavi's certifications include: Advanced
Cardiac Life Support, Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
and DEA. He is also a member of the American Family Practice
Association, American Osteopathic Association and the Los Angeles
County Medical Association.
Dr. Lavi also serves as the Clinical
Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Western University as well
as the Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine at University of
Southern California (USC).
His interests include backpacking, swimming,
martial arts, basketball, religious studies and traveling.
